Got two of these as gifts for my kids and they LOVE them. It has helped them to have an outlet for both creativity and their frustrations in a way that they feel is safe and private. My 7 yr old even enjoys writing now, so that's a major plus. The quality of this product is very nice and durable. The paper is crisp and strongly stitched together. Also the leather cover is strong and durable. The design adds a nice element and the lock is safely attached.I ordered this alongside a collection of herbs. They came in a bag together. The herbs were in a box that was a little beat, but they were okay, I could not say the same for the book. The hinge rod was missing, so despite it locking, it was stuck open. It was heavily warped due to how it was just thrown in a bag. One noticeable thing was also that it is missing the edge binding that all the other books have. The book frankly doesn't look like how it is supposed to at all, the leather isn't printed well so the designs are barely there, and the leather itself feels like cardboard. He loved it and the lock featureThe material is kind of cheap but it does look like the pictureI loved it so much, I bought another one! I am a kind of "journal connoisseur", and this was a very very nice one. The paper is perfect to write on, meaning not too fiber-y. I have bought them in the past where the handmade paper was more akin to a paper towel than something to write or draw on. I didn't hesitate about ordering another one. They are also well made and very sturdy and comes with a nice little lock and two keys. A tremendous buy for the modest price.Compact and easy to use. Has two keys. Great gift. This journal is beautifully crafted and well made. It would make a lovely gift.I am not much of a journal writer so I thought a cool one would inspire me, and it does. I really like this book, it's my first "diary" since I was about 8 or 9 years old. I have had it for a few months and the paint and leather is all holding together well. I love the hot pink and imprints. I will buy a bigger one in the future, possibly even one to gift. There is very slight imperfections, but I think it is still perfectly imperfect. I would "recommend to a friend"Not worth 450 Rs. The cover is extremely thin and dirty. Pages are hand made and binding is lose. Not a quality product . One can easily see what's written inside by squeezing the book a little.I had brought several journals and this is not worth the cost. If I had not opened it I would have easily returned it.The price was okay for a leather journal but not good quality. The metal flap is rusted and doesn't line up at all (first picture), there was threading that was ripped (second photo) and the green dye leaked through the holes and looks gross honestly (third picture). Not happy at all and cannot gift this so I will return it.The buckle and the catch were both rusty, which kind of led it to appear a relic. You can only write on one side comfortably and then it becomes a royal pain. The book itself is exactly what I wanted but will search for another. The pages, binding and overall the vintage feel is good. But it seems like I have got a very old product. The colour has faded at a place and lock hinge is rusted. But I am still gonna keep it!
