I find myself intimidated by large journal sheets. This is perfect. I carry it everywhere. I can make notations for entries for later. I keep track of every thing. It's like my best friend always there when I need it. It's sturdy and compact without sacrificing use ability.I bought this for a new job, and I absolutely adore it. I love that I can take as many notes as I want, move them around, discard them and replace them with empty sheets. The pen holder and closure, the thick material, the old-fashioned look to it. Decent size- not huge but not teeny. All in all, I'm a fan.I also bought the extra pack, so I also have dividers, flags, etc. I use the business card holders for pictures of loved ones, when I need an oxytocin hit during the day :)I usually fret when picking out leather goods as so many are 'genuine' and they're absolute garbage leather and in some vases vinyl with texture pressed into it.I've bought 3 different journals similar to this one - and took the chance, and guess what? Hands down this is the best one at the best price.I'd like another one, but it'd just sit by as I take this literally everywhere with me...If you're on the fence with a decision, jump down, click add to cart and checkout already!I had no luck finding a leather binder for looseleaf notebooks until I found this. Almost everything out there is either for journals (where you can't easily rip out pages) or for things like calendars and organizers. I write show reviews in small notebooks and wanted a nice binder. Then I found this, which is also reasonably priced. The binder itself I'd give 5 stars. I love that it includes plastic sheets to hold business cards. The penholder is a bit tight for my pen, but for many pens would be just fine. It has the smell of really good leather. I'd give the whole thing a 5 if it came with all lined paper, but half of it is unlined, which I don't care for. I just realized now that I have only enough for one more review without buying more lined paper. I do like the thickness of the paper. They don't have half stars here, but figure that I mean 4 1/2 stars.For the most part I like it. However half the pages in the binder were blank and the rest were lined. I thought that all the pages would be lined. Other than that, so far so good.Bought it “like new” and was in new condition. Love it and I have added color sheets and floral dividers. It’s genuine leather and I hope it ages nicely. Great buy!The journal is a nice red leather. Sturdy with good paper. If you're looking for this size, this journal is lovely. However, I am confused. This is supposed to be A6 Paper, but as you can see, the refillable journal that I've used for years which is supposed to be the same size is very clearly not the same size. I've bought A6 paper for years for this journal, so I was confident when purchasing this journal it would fit my needs. I wanted to switch some of my bullet journal papers over to this and use my older one as a planner. I am very disappointed and feel mislead by the description. I usually go by the measurements, but assumed from the description that my paper packets would fit.I initially purchased this as an address book, but I use it for everything now. It's not only my wallet, but also where I keep my daily affirmations, journal notes, photo envelope. I look forward to writing in it and finding new things to place inside. This would make a wonderful gift, especially if you included the address and calendar inserts.
