Though a simple journal, it really helped our child to process our Advent devotions each night as she wrote and drew pictures in connection with the devotions. She’s 8 and doesn’t like writing a lot yet but writing names and key phrases while drawing pictures kept her focused on the devotion. Being able to do this journal really helped engage her and deepen her level of understanding. Her entries are sweet. I will save this booklet to look back on each year, and definitely plan to buy a new one for next year too!
