I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the Tarot, for new, intermediate and advanced alike. I have to say I love how Angie Green keeps her books so complete and clean. They are never busy to distract you from what you are working on or trying to learn. For each card, starting with the Fool, she gives you the standard keywords and some keywords that are different than the standard. I find this to be a great help because the standard is a bit outdated for our time, in my opinion.Across from these keywords, she provides you with a space for you to add your own keywords. This I thought was priceless, since sometimes finding your own keywords for the cards you draw helps you not to have to stop to look up the meaning in the book because you drew a blank. This is a great idea that Angie added this!Below this group, she provides the reversed keywords and again across the page a place for you to put your own keywords to help you better remember.Following this section comes Patterns and Correspondences of the major Arcana, the numerological numbers, the Zodiac, Planetary correspondence and Element all in one place and easy access to this important information for a deep reading. For the minors, Angie gives you what the suit rules, what suit in a deck of playing cards it falls under, timelines, what the number means and what element it falls under. This book just keeps on giving as there are three pages of sixteen questions on each card. This is another awesome idea that Angie Green uses to help instill the meaning of the card. The more you write about something, the more likely your memory stores this information. The cover is done in a matte soft finish, something I love as it is softer on the hands when holding a book. There are 314 pages of Tarot goodness to keep you engaged. You can also use her website to get a free printable Tarot meanings cheat sheet. This is so handy to place in the front of any journal you work on at home or a smaller journal that you can take to work, on the bus or on the train.
